Carly's FMP

A couple of months ago one of my good friends Carly asked if I'd take some fashion photos for her FMP at uni. She's studying fashion journalism and needed photographs for an in house magazine she was creating for the shop Zara. She needed them to be simple and clean, in a studio setting. As my confidence using the studio has been steadily improving I jumped at the chance to take some photos of some gorgeous clothes on a beautiful model, (the lovely Paiton Collins). I drove the 4 hours to London the night before and was up and raring to go at 7am the next morning! After setting up we started with some head shots which looked great, and then moved on to the full body shots... Problem. Due to fact the studio we were using was a portable set up, in a teeny basement room below the uni building, the two lenses I had bought with me for the shoot couldn't fit in the whole of the models body! After a brief moment of panic I took the lens from my film camera and tried a few shots with that, it worked... just! With me crouching on a chair up against the back wall of the basement it just about worked! A little bit of photoshop magic later courtesy of Joseph, I was left with some images I'm really pleased with!
